For 2021 Summer, we will offer a mathlete camp for grades 2 to 8
students. please read below.
School math curriculum (for example, Singapore Math) helps students
establish solid foundations from one topic to another. Students learned
math by arrangement. It's a passive way to learn math.
When students are immersing into competition math questions, they have to
search and determine the proper math skills to solve. This is a
pro-active way to learn math.
Many students are afraid of being in an exam or a competition because
they are used to follow teacher to solve questions of a specific topic.
We are here to pacify their fear and build up the confidence! In the
Mathlete camp, they will be properly guided and inspired. So their
thinking skill will be activated to find solutions in a more pro-active
way. In the mathlete summer camp, students will be in touch with higher
level thinking problems that are dynamic, "untraditional", and "outside
of the box".
Mathlete for Grades 2 to 3
We offer mathlete
class especially for 3rd grade students who
either finished grade 2 going to be grade 3 or
just finished grade 3. The math contests of
Noetic Learning and Math Kangaroo will be
primarily focused. All class materials will be
provided.
Pre-requisite:
Capable calculation skills including
multiplication and division by a 1-digit number.
We offer mathlete
class especially for 4th to 5th grade students
who either finished grade 4 going to be grade 5
or just finished grade 5. The math contests of
Noetic Learning, Math Kangaroo, and Math
Olympiads will be primarily focused. All class
materials will be provided.
Pre-requisite:
Capable calculation skills of integers,
fractions, and decimal numbers.
We offer mathlete
class especially for 6th to 8th grade students
should complete either 6th or 7th grade math.
The math contests of MATHCOUNTS and AMC8 will be
primarily focused. All class materials will be
provided.
Pre-requisite:
being passionate about math, eager to learn, and
ambitious in excelling in math.
